SLOP

n. mass. uncountable.

> Prose that has the shape of saying something while saying nothing. Identified by surface polish without underlying object: a paragraph that survives being read, but not being remembered. Distinct from bad writing — slop is competent and forgettable. Bad writing is incompetent and sometimes alive.

USE: The hero section is slop. Rewrite for one specific reader.
